No industry panels, no politics—just consumers judging what truly deserves to be called Best in Grow. Fast forward to 2025, and this thing has evolved into a full-blown national showdown.

This year’s competition features licensed producers from across Canada, with customers picking winners in two categories: Sativa Box and Indica Box. And let’s be clear—this isn’t just about THC percentages. The judging criteria go beyond the numbers, rewarding the full experience: terpene expression, bud structure, aroma, and overall vibe.

How It Works

• Buy In: Starting February 3, customers can grab a Cannabis NB Cup box in-store for $250 (while supplies last). Each box comes loaded with eight 3.5g strains—a full ounce of premium craft cannabis—plus a judge’s book and a jeweler’s loupe to inspect the flower up close.
• Judge Like a Pro: Take your time. One strain per session. Fill out the scorecard. When you’re ready, submit your ratings online using the unique code provided in the judge’s book. Judging closes April 10.
• Winners Announced: On April 17, the results drop, crowning the best cultivars in Canada.

What’s in the Box?Producers across the country submitted their best work, including PURPLEFARM, which entered Miracle Mints (Cap Junky lineage) in the Sativa Box and Jokerz #31 in the Indica Box.
